Robert J. Kim

As a former collegiate soccer player and the firm’s best golfer, Bob is extremely competitive, persistent and a lot of fun. As a lawyer, he uses his competitive drive, candidness and commitment to excellence to work hard for his clients.

Bob has in-depth experience in conducting business transactions throughout the State of Maryland and, in particular, for liquor stores, beer and wine stores and restaurants. He represents a variety of clients, from local mom and pop stores to national chains, in connection with alcoholic beverage license applications, transfers, compliance, and regulatory matters in the State of Maryland.  Since many retail liquor license transactions involve land use and entitlement issues, he also works closely with the firm’s Land Use attorneys and coordinator in order to assist clients in obtaining conditional use permits and other entitlements for their projects.

In addition to handling business transactions and liquor licensing matters, Bob also has extensive experience in Title Insurance Defense, representing national title insurers and lenders in a wide range of real estate and title claims litigation.

Outside of the office, you can find Bob playing on some of the best golf courses in the world.
