About Milton D. Jernigan II

Mr. Jernigan grew up destined to be a businessman. He started working in his family business as a teenager where he worked his way up from the ground floor to assisting in the formation of business entities to the development of owner-occupied real estate. He founded Milton Jernigan & Associates, P.C., in 1982, and merged with McNamee Hosea in 1988. In addition, he has previously organized and directed the formation and operation of two separate community banks over a 20 year period. Mick has substantial business and entrepreneurial experience that gives him an insider perspective and business-oriented approach to the needs of his clients. He has been very successful in developing not only his personal businesses, but also in ensuring the prosperity of this clients business ventures. In addition to his own success, Mick says that he “always considers himself a businessman first and a lawyer second.”

Mick’s practice areas include business and banking law, commercial real estate acquisition and development, mergers and acquisitions, business formations, finance and capitalization, and estates and trust tax planning and administration. He focuses on business and real estate advisory services and provides counsel and assistance to clients to achieve their business, real estate, estate planning and related goals and objectives. His business knowledge, experience, financial acumen, and leadership skills make him uniquely qualified when it comes to advising and representing his clients.
