About Danielle M. Cruttenden

Since 1991, Danielle has focused her practice in estate planning and estate and trust administration, helping clients develop estate plans that address their unique needs. Danielle has experience in drafting numerous estate planning documents including wills and revocable trusts with credit shelter, marital and generation skipping provisions, life insurance trusts, qualified personal residence trusts and charitable trusts. She also helps clients with their decisions and execution of durable powers of attorney and advance medical directives. She is also experienced in the preparation and filing of estate and gift tax returns. Following the death of a loved one, Danielle helps families settle the descendant’s final affairs.

Caring and sincere, Danielle takes a very personal approach to representing her clients. Her goal is to become a trusted confidante and the person that her clients go to to solve the problems they cannot solve alone.

Danielle says that “keeping current in the field is extremely important and that she has always been, and will continue to be, very active in the promotion of continued education programs in estates and trusts.” She has served as Past Chair of the Estates and Trusts Section Council. As a member of the Section Council Danielle planned educational programs for the Maryland Estates and Trusts Bar and she previously served as Co-Chair of the Section’s Study Group. Danielle has also served as the legislative Chair of the Estate and Trust Law Section and has been actively involved in the drafting and passage of laws impacting the areas of probate, estate planning and trust administration.
